This study aims to examine the relationship between the transformational leadership style of caregivers and the effectiveness of the student writing program at An Najah Student Islamic Boarding School in Purwokerto. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to students as respondents. The instrument includes two main variables: transformational leadership (16 items) and writing program effectiveness (16 items), measured using a Likert scale. Normality tests using the Shapiro-Wilk method indicate that the data are not normally distributed; therefore, the Spearman correlation test was used. The analysis reveals a strong and significant relationship between transformational leadership and the effectiveness of the writing program, with a correlation coefficient of 0.746 and a p-value of 0.000044. These findings suggest that the higher the students' perception of the transformational leadership qualities of the caregiver, the higher their perception of the success of the writing program. This study highlights the importance of inspirational and visionary leadership in supporting the success of literacy programs in Islamic educational settings.References
