Integration of Ecotheological Values in Adaptive Islamic Religious Education Curriculum in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

Environmental degradation has become one of the most pressing global issues, including in Indonesia, where technological advances often widen the gap between digital development and ecological responsibility. This study aims to analyze the integration of ecotheological values in the Islamic Religious Education curriculum that is adaptive to the Artificial Intelligence era. This research uses an integrative literature review approach by examining various relevant sources regarding ecotheology, PAI curriculum, and the use of Artificial Intelligence in learning. The research findings indicate that the integration of AI into Islamic Religious Education presents both challenges and opportunities. These challenges include technological dependency, limited infrastructure, and ethical and cultural issues. On the other hand, AI also opens up opportunities to enhance ecological awareness and spiritual values through interactive and adaptive learning experiences. This research emphasizes the importance of digital literacy and teacher pedagogical competence in balancing the use of technology with Islamic principles and environmental ethics. This integration is expected to shape students who are technologically literate, spiritually grounded, and environmentally responsible in accordance with Islamic teachings.References
