Abstrak

Learning the yellow book is something very important in salafi Islamic boarding schools. There are many methods in learning the yellow book, one of which is the sorogan method. The sorogan method is a method that is difficult to apply in learning the yellow book in salafi Islamic boarding schools due to various factors. However, the sorogan method is very effective in learning the yellow book. And most of the large salafi Islamic boarding schools use the sorogan method in learning the yellow book. How to implement the sorogan method in learning the yellow book at the Mamba'ul Khoirot Tanjunganom Foundation, Nganjuk. This thesis used a qualitative approach and a descriptive design. The data collection method used participatory observation, indepth interview, and documentation. The method of analyzing the data: the inductive method with the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The results of the research obtained are, the sorogan method applied at the Mamba'ul Khoirot Islamic boarding school. The author describes a little about its implementation, namely the teacher adds material in a classical way and strengthens it in an individual way, namely students come forward one by one facing their ustadz in turn.
